Be the exception and embrace freedom

Have you had problems with conforming to the pressure of what is expected of you? You should know that you don't have to act in a certain way because of the influence of someone who is shown to be a high ruler over you. They may have a crowned head but that doesn't mean that they hold the supreme power of God. He is the great and ultimate decider. He created us to be equal because we are all made in his image. Not all that are over you are going to be kind and just. They may treat you cruelly and harshly. Whoever comes into your life and gives you more problems and tries to oppress you is not worthy of being in your life. The only one who can pass judgment on you is in heaven. Today you are being asked to break free from oppression, whatever it may be. Don't deny yourself the freedom to go your own way. Don't give up on your plans because you feel like a victim. Traitors will try to pressure you to stay silent, weak, and afraid. They will mock you and treat you as if you are crazy or just a joke. Stay true to your convictions.

It's a fact that sexual abuse has and is happening under the cloak of the Church. Many have not been charged or sent to prison for their crimes. Research shows that only about 6 percent of all clergymen and women, {that credible allegation was made against} were convicted and sent to prison. If you are have been exposed to or have dealt with this sad reality then there is help there for you. Anyone that has been sexually abused can call 800.656.HOPE to speak with someone in your area who will be a safe haven and give you confidential support. See Matthew 7:14 - 16, "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves."

Thanks for listening!
